XS architecten is looking for projectarchitect (food)retail / hospitality
Are you the project architect with a passion for gastronomy and retail? Do you enjoy working on the design, development, and coordination of the expansion of our international clientele? Are you fluent in both German and English and familiar with the German permitting process? Then we’re looking for you!
XS architecten is an architecture and design firm based in Amersfoort (NL), passionately planning and executing projects in architecture, interior design, and concept development for over 10 years. We create distinctive spaces in the fields of corporate, hospitality, office, and retail, and cover all project phases: From site analysis and initial test-fit studies to design, technical development, permit applications, and final delivery. Our clients include well-known brands such as KFC, Mango, Backwerk, Frittenwerk, Burger King, and Délifrance. We manage these projects from our office in Amersfoort – with a diverse, international, and well-coordinated team of 25 (interior) architects, BIM modelers, and project managers. Collaboration, communication, and team spirit are central to our work.
We are currently looking to strengthen our team – ideally someone from the Amersfoort region or willing to relocate.
What you bring:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior architecture
- Experience in project management and development of hospitality and/or retail projects
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
- Strong command of German and English, both spoken and written
- Basic knowledge of Dutch or willingness to learn Dutch
- Strong communication skills
- Sense of responsibility

- Salary according to the Dutch Architects CAO, classified in salary scale 7 or 8 – depending on your experience
