KFC Groot Bijgaarden

Groot Bijgaarden is a large gas station along the A10 between Brussels and Ghent, where a catering pavilion has been placed on both sides of the highway for several restaurants. Operator Euro Garages initially asked us to accommodate 1 food brand, but it soon turned out that the space offered many more opportunities. In the end, we were able to accommodate KFC, Burger King and Starbucks in this food court, with the latter (with a more grab & go character) forming a natural transition to the tank shop. The counters of the 3 formulas form a continuous whole, followed by the common seating area. We looked for the common denominator in the various house styles of the formulas, with brand-specific expressions scattered here and there.
